(May 3, 2018) John Matson has been honored as a 2018 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar by The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation. This prestigious award honors select faculty across the country who have created an "outstanding independent body of scholarship and are deeply committed to education." This five-year, $75,000 award recognizes John's commitment to education and research and, more specifically, his research group's efforts to understand and exploit the roles of hydrogen sulfide in biological systems through development of new small molecules, polymers and hydrogels.
